Uninsured Services and Block Fees:

While most of your care is covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), certain medical and administrative services are not, and are charged for separately (see below).  These costs are in accordance with guidelines set by the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

To reduce administrative costs, as well as for cost savings to patients, we also offer a Block Fee program. The Block Fee Program provides annual coverage for most services (see below for inclusions and exclusions). The Block Fee Program is optional; for those that do not wish to subscribe, each service will be charged individually.

Block Fee Program rates are:

  • Individual: $170 per year

  • Family (up to 5 family members [max 2 adults] at the same address): $250 per year
